Terms of Service

These Terms govern your purchase and use of Sentinel Board (“the Software”), a security-testing toolkit provided by Obsidian Orb Innovations (“we”, “us”). By purchasing, downloading, or using the Software you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

1. What you are buying

Sentinel Board is a downloadable digital product: a set of scripts, checklists, guides, and a local dashboard for conducting authorized security assessments. Purchase grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software, as described in the End User License Agreement included with the download.

2. Authorized use only

The Software is intended solely for authorized security testing. You agree to use it only against systems that you own or for which you hold explicit, written authorization to test. Unauthorized access to computer systems is illegal in most jurisdictions and is your sole responsibility.

You are solely responsible for obtaining proper authorization before any assessment and for complying with all applicable laws. We are not a party to, and accept no responsibility for, how you use the Software.

3. License restrictions

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publicly republish the Software or its source as a competing product.
You may not use the Software to gain unauthorized access to any system.
You may use it for your own applications, for clients who have authorized you in writing, and for security research, training, and internal assessments.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are shown at checkout and are one-time unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes may be added.

5. Refunds

Our refund terms are described on the Refund Policy page, which forms part of these Terms.

6. No warranty

The Software is provided “AS IS”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Security testing tools produce indicative results that require expert interpretation; we do not warrant that the Software will detect every vulnerability or produce error-free results.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any use of the Software outside the scope of authorized testing.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
